Social Media Spin

Just want to let you all know that I’ll be inter­viewed on Talk­shoe tonight on the Blo­ga­li­cious series.

If you’re not famil­iar with Blo­ga­li­cious, it’s the first con­fer­ence of it’s kind for women of color. It was last month (Octo­ber ’09) and gave women of color who are blog­gers an oppor­tu­nity to be rec­og­nized for their con­tri­bu­tions to social media. Unfor­tu­nately, women and par­tic­u­larly women of color are over­looked in lists of Social Media Lead­ers, so Blo­ga­li­cious gave us an oppor­tu­nity to truly be rec­og­nized. Blo­ga­li­cious was piv­otal in edu­cat­ing mar­keters on the impor­tance of women of color in today’s mar­ket­place, and helped us build rela­tion­ships, was very inspir­ing and moti­vated us all to cre­ate suc­cess­ful blogs.
